The 5th annual concert vacation, hosted by Cloud 9 Adventures
will feature musical hosts Yonder Mountain String Band, plus Greensky Bluegrass, Railroad Earth, Leftover Salmon, Infamous Stringdusters, Keller & The Keels, Keller’s Grateful Grass, and special guests Danny Barnes and Nicki Bluhm.
Cloud 9 Adventures has announced the stellar artist lineup and full event details for the return of bluegrass-centric concert vacation, Strings & Sol. Held at Now Sapphire Riviera Cancun in Puerto Morelos, Mexico, the festival runs from December 9 -13, 2016. For the 5th year, the annual destination music event features multiple performances by Yonder Mountain String Band, Greensky Bluegrass, Railroad Earth, Leftover Salmon, The Infamous Stringdusters, as well as one show each from Keller & The Keels and Keller’s Grateful Grass. In addition, joining in are special guests Danny Barnes and Nicki Bluhm to complete this exciting 2016 lineup.

To make it even more appetizing, Strings & Sol will be partnering again with charitable organization Positive Legacy, encouraging artists and fans to participate in a day of service and cultural connection in the community of Puerto Morelos as a way of giving back. The ongoing Positive Legacy project in this region has been the “Urban Garden Initiative”, a mission to bring the practice of community gardening to the local high school. The goal of the project is to share in the practice of gardening and create a local, sustainable fresh food source. Details for this year’s Day of Service will be announced in the coming months.
Pricing for the all-inclusive packages at Now Sapphire start at $1349 per person for Tropical View Suites, with Ocean Front Suites starting at $1699 per person. Package pricing includes accommodations, meals, beverages, activities and shows for all four nights.
