A brand new festival, California Conscious Music Fest, is proud to premier on Sunday, September 18, 2016. The brand new festival, also known as CaliCon, will take place at the Sonoma County SOMO Village. The 2016 SOMO Concert Series and Octave are producing this exciting six band festival.
Reggae and Jamaican music icons will headline California Conscious’ inauguration. The fun lineup includes funk icons Kool & The Gang, reggae masters Third World, Jamaican dancehall kings Half Pint, local favorite Native Elements, Mike love, and Sol Horizon.

CaliCon, situated in the gorgeous San Francisco Bay Area, aims to host and promote iconic musics and artisans. as well as promote community welfare, solidarity, and ecologically friendly initiatives. Examples of these initiatives include educating the community on the best recycling and environmental practices and helping to fund local music education programs. Thus, the festival will host local artisans, gourmet food vendors, commercial and craft booths, craft beers, and wines.
