Party Where The Sun Never Sets
Iceland’s largest music festival Secret Solstice will be returning for their 4th edition June 16-18, 2017. Ever since its first year in 2014 this festival has caught the attention of music lovers around the globe. Several media outlets have even dubbed it “the world’s most unique music festival.” During the epic summer solstice the capital city of Reykjavik will come alive for 72-hours of daylight. With less than 3 months to go Secret Solstice has lifted the lid on their initial lineup announcement for 2017!
The Lineup
So far only two phases of the lineup have been announced. Rock legends Foo Fighters are among an impressive bill of artists for Secret Solstice 2017. Also announced to perform are UK electronic icons The Prodigy, Richard Ashcroft, formerly of The Verve, Pharoahe Monch, Foreign Beggars, Dubfire, Novelist, and Dusky. Returning to the event for the third time in 2017 is Chicago house legend Kerri Chandler.
Iceland’s local talen will be very well represented, with artists like Högni, Úlfur Úlfur, Amabadama, Emmsjé Gauti, GKR, Tiny, Aron Can, KSF, and Alvia Islandia.
Some of the biggest names in dance music will be performing in Reykjavik as well. Ibiza’s favorite party crew Circoloco, Above & Beyond’s deep house imprint Anjunadeep, dancefloor collective Crew Love, ATG, and Dubfire’s SCI+TEC are all confirmed to be bringing the heat under Iceland’s midnight sun.
