Zara Larsson’s new album “SO GOOD”
Fans across the globe rejoice, Zara Larsson wants you to feel “So Good” with an EXCLUSIVE LISTEN of her new album HERE. Hot on the heels of revealing the March 17th arrival of Zara Larsson’s much-anticipated new album SO GOOD, jet-propelled by the single “So Good” featuring Ty Dolla $ign, Epic Records/Ten’s worldwide mega-platinum sensation Zara Larsson will kick off her first major North American tour on March 31st at the Showbox in Seattle, opening for UK electro-pop trio Clean Bandit.
A Brief Listen
From it’s roots in pop, “So Good”, extends into many other genres including elements of deep & tropical house, trap, as well as reggae. From my brief listen, songs to check outside of the obvious are, “Sundown”, “Don’t Let Me Be Yours”, and “Only You”. The latter has to be one of my favorites from the new album. Though more down-tempo in comparison to many of the other songs on this album, the melody comes out earnestly & Zara’s vocal sincerely, offering a nice contrast to the album as a whole. Overall, a pop album doesn’t get much better than this. Both fans and strangers to Zara Larsson will be pleased with this new addition to her catalogue, and I can’t wait to hear these ones on the radio.
About Zara Larsson
The 19-year old Swedish pop singer Zara Larsson established a strong U.S. audience with her first two back-to-back hit singles of 2015, the RIAA platinum reggae-tinged “Lush Life” and the double-platinum “Never Forget You” (a collaboration with Grammy nominated producer/artist MNEK). But prior to that, Zara was already a major star in Europe, thanks to Introducing and Let Me Reintroduce Myself, her two EPs of 2013, and a string of multi-platinum singles (“Uncover,” “Carry You Home,” and “Rooftop”) that appeared on her 2014 album 1.
To date, Zara has performed on nearly every major morning and late-night talk show, cementing her loyal and supportive American fan base. Her upcoming North American tour will give Zara the opportunity to do what she loves best: performing live for as many people as possible.
