Spain’s biggest electronic music festival, Dreambeach, will be returning to Villaricos from August 10-15. This is the festival’s 5th anniversary and they have cultivated an impressive lineup to celebrate. DJ heavyweights from all over the world will be featured, including sets from Tiesto, David Guetta, Chase & Status, Pendulum, Oliver Heldens, Eats Everything and many more.
Dreambeach has recently added French rapper MHD to the lineup. It is sure to be a performance that attendees won’t want to miss as it will be his only appearance in Spain this year. The French rapper has had an impressive 18 months. With more than 500 million views on just 13 videos on his YouTube channel, it’s clear that MHD has successfully pioneered a new genre of hip-hop named ‘Afro Trap’. It’s a blend of trap music from the southern United States with Afro music that reflects his Senegalese and Guinean roots.
The festival’s 2017 lineup reflects a broad range of genres from across the electronic music spectrum. Everything from house, techno, and drum and bass – with MHD completing the hip-hop element which sees Mala Rodriquez, Ayax Y Prok and B Jones in support.
