Capaldi also had a previous track “Lost On You”, that was included in Spotify’s New Music Friday in over 20 countries. His debut “Bruises”, had the No. 1 spot on the playlist and has amassed over 28 million total streams globally. The effortless slips between smooth baritone, gravelly mid-tone, and haunting falsetto are showcased in “Bruises” with Capaldi’s nimble vocal ability.
“I picked the guitar up at nine, started writing songs at eleven and then was gigging from 12 onwards. I mean, they were awful songs, but it was fun. I was always trying to get in places, playing at pubs. I’d show up and try and blag my way in. I’d have to hide in the toilets and then jump out and do my set as quickly as possible before anyone knew there was a 12-year-old in the pub,” says Capaldi.
Lewis is only 20 years old and was recently nominated for a Breakthrough Artist of the Year Award at the Scottish Music Awards. He devoted every spare moment he had to writing and performing. Playing shows in Glasgow, Edinburgh and anywhere he could find a receptive audience. Capaldi was always working on songs, finding his voice as a songwriter and honing his craft with nothing but dedication. Simultaneously, he was developing the rough-around-the-edges vocals that could make the songs soar.
Capaldi will tour Europe this fall with Rag’n’Bone Man, followed by his second UK sold out headlining tour in December. He will also be touring the U.S. and Canada with Milky Chance in January. Below, you can find all the tour dates.

I’ve heard in a long time.”
