Hakkasan Group Hosts Epic 2018 New Year’s Eve Weekend


JEWEL Nightclub inside ARIA Resort & Casino kicked off the celebratory weekend Friday, Dec. 29 with resident DJ Justin Credible taking over the turntables for a special New Year’s Eve Weekend edition of “The Good Life Fridays.” The party continued with an electrified open-format set by Irie Saturday, Dec. 30. On Sunday, Dec. 31, clubgoers rang in 2018 with legendary hip-hop artist turned DJ Lil Jon as he counted down the final minutes of 2017 and sprayed the enthusiastic crowd with champagne as the clock struck midnight. The music icon popped bottles with partygoers and gave a high-energy performance, which included several of his legendary party anthems, making for an unforgettable night at the premier venue.


Meanwhile, Hakkasan Nightclub inside MGM Grand Hotel & Casino held its own jam-packed weekend in honor of the New Year beginning Friday, Dec. 29 with Party Favor. Legendary electronic dance artist Tiësto took over the main room of the iconic hot spot the following night, treating the sold-out venue to an energetic performance. On Sunday, Dec. 31, fellow chart-topping artist Steve Aoki controlled the New Year’s Eve celebrations, which also included an appearance by Bruce Buffer to lead the countdown to 2018. As midnight hit, the energy in the room was at an all-time high as balloons, streamers, and confetti descended upon the audience while Aoki provided the soundtrack for an action-packed night.


Down the Strip at OMNIA Nightclub inside Caesars Palace, partygoers were treated to a star-studded lineup in honor of the New Year’s Eve weekend. GRAMMY Award-winning artist Zedd began the celebrations Friday, Dec. 29, as Travis Scott and DJ Chase B gave a special performance Saturday, Dec. 30. The packed crowd excitedly sang along with the chart-topping hip-hop artist as he performed his greatest hits, including “Goosebumps” and “Butterfly Effect.” The following evening, world-renown DJ Calvin Harris lead the New Year’s Eve festivities, as the sold-out venue rang in 2018 under the kinetic chandelier. As the clock struck midnight, guests took in views of the stunning Las Vegas Strip firework show on the outdoor Terrace while those in the main room enjoyed an energetic set by Harris.



At 1 OAK Nightclub inside The Mirage Hotel & Casino, the New Year revelries began Friday, Dec. 29 with a hit open-format set by DJ Karma, while Turbulence manned the turntables Saturday evening. The nighttime hot spot went all-out for their 2018 celebration Sunday, Dec. 31, as hip-hop artist 2 Chainz headlined the New Year’s Eve festivities. The “It’s a Vibe” rapper stopped for a few photos in front of the step and repeat before heading into the packed venue, where he lead the countdown to midnight as the crowd toasted to the New Year. He went on to perform several of his fan favorite hits, such as “Watch Out” and “I’m Different,” making for a fun-filled affair.

The Bank Nightclub inside Bellagio Hotel & Casino started off New Year’s Eve weekend with a high-energy performance by DJ Que Friday Dec. 29, followed by DJ Stretch Saturday, Dec. 30. Pop superstar Bruno Mars headed the New Year’s Eve celebrations Sunday, Dec. 31, where he lead the countdown to midnight at the packed nightspot as his hit song “24K Magic” played in the background. Partygoers started the New Year off with a performance by the superstar, as the premier venue kept the party going until the early hours of the morning.
