Raging Runways and Artificial People present a festival-inspired Fashion Show + Afterparty at The W Hotel in the heart of Hollywood, California on February 23, 2019. Raging Runways’ CEO and Founder, Ali Ricke, along with her growing team of young entrepreneurs, have constructed a female-driven fashion event production firm that has enlivened the runway experience.
Previously described as a “landscape of temporary tattoos, sequined kimonos, and floor-length faux fur jackets,” by the LA Times, RR’s fourth fashion event will feature a glitter runway, cascading fire curtains, and DJs from Desert Hearts and Soul State spinning from open to close. Guests can experience the shoppable runway in the Vendor Village where they can craft flower crowns, enjoy hot chocolate, and visit Lunautics’ glitter station as they browse the works of vendors and designers with festival-ready styles.
As festival-goers gear up for festival season, RR hosts the ultimate kickoff with designers responsible for creating the most coveted pieces in the festival scene, including L.O.M, Sparkl Fashion, A Sultry Affair, Rachelle Apelle, and Stardust Love. The runway will become a raging celebration with 3D visual projections, aerial silk performers, and choreographed dancers at the half time show, creating a wonderland of fashion, music, and art.
On Saturday, February 23rd, 2019 at 7:00 pm, doors will open at The W Hotel, Hollywood – 6250 Hollywood Blvd, Hollywood, CA 90028. The highlight of the night – the runway show – will commence at 9:00 pm. The Afterparty will be held on location.
