Insomniac, the company behind the dance music festival Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC), recently announced the names of over 70 artists that will be performing at the upcoming second annual EDC, Mexico February 28 – March 1, 2015. The event plans to transform the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez venue into an immersive fan experience complete with four stages of music and the festivals’ signature theatrical and production elements.
“The diversity of the crowd at EDC Mexico takes me back to the early days of dance music parties,” said Pasquale Rotella, Founder and CEO of Insomniac. “As we head into this festival’s second year, we are really excited to join the artists and the fans as dance music continues to evolve in Mexico.”
In addition to some of the most popular acts in music today, EDC Mexico will also feature local artist who will bring the flavor of Mexico’s dance music scene to the festival. The 2015 edition will again feature state-of-the-art production and stage design, massive interactive art installations, full-scale carnival rides, roaming performers and over-the-top theatrical elements for fans to discover across the sprawling grounds.
