Since 2011, Big Week NYC has been the pinnacle week of New York’s year; the perfect way to nightcap the year in the greatest city in the world. The concerts hosted on the West Side’s PIER 94 and downtown’s PIER 36 bring together dance music and hip hop’s biggest names for a one-of-a-kind series of parties that happens only once a year.
New Years Eve hosts two of the most epic parties New York will ever see:
On the reaches of Manhattan’s west side, international superstars THE CHAINSMOKERS, NICKY ROMERO, TRAVIS SCOTT and ANSOLO ring in 2016 at the world-famous Pier 94. The New Years blow out caps a record breaking 2015 for The Chainsmokers, and marks Nicky Romero and Ansolo’s returns to Pier 94 after their sold-out performance at Pier of Fear last year.
Pier 36 on the lower tip of Manhattan hosts FUTURE along with a DJ set from guests RUDIMENTAL. Future has been one of the biggest names in hip hop since 2011’s ‘Tony Montana’. Rudimental, the pioneering melting-pot drum’n’bass collective who have taken the British music scene by storm, bring a DJ set to the New Year’s Eve celebration. With chart topping tracks like ‘Lay It All on Me’ (with Ed Sheeran) and ‘Bloodstream’, the band shows no signs of slowing.
