The seventh edition of Farr Festival boasts their most ambitious lineup yet. Ben UFO, Joy Orbison, and Midland are arranged to play an exclusive 6-hour back-to-back set, sure to open up your musical horizons deep in the isolated woods.
Farr welcomes Gilles Peterson for the first time, while Move D and Hunee return to the forest, bringing a myriad mosaic of sounds to the woods. Paris-based DJ and producer Jeremy Underground will be busy unearthing the hidden treasures of House music, while Hamburg’s finest, Moomin, brings his soulful brand of deep house to the UK. Helena Hauff brings an additional assault of acid, Chicago, electro, and wave.
Andrew Weatherall and Sean Johnston will present “A Love From outer Space” with a special 8-hour set. Celebrating 30 years of his legendary imprint, Boy’s Own Records, Terry Farley will venture deep into the archives of acid house.
Detroit Swindle heads back to Farr, bringing with them Frits Wentink and Nachtbraker for the Heist recordings stage. Other Farr debuts are handed to some of the most exciting names to grace dance music including Max Cooper, ItaloJohnson, Funkineven, Maurice Fulton, Mike Dunn, Dorisburg, Olaf Stutt, Harri (Sub Club), Jane Fitz, Evan Baggs, project Pablo, Francis Inferno Orchestra, Denis Sulta, and London favorite, Electric Minds.
The uninhabited forest of Bygrave Woods in Hertfordshire is about to get very inhabited on July 14-16. Just a short drive from London, the festival draws large crowds from all over the world.
