Today, Electric Forest (EF) announced that tickets to its 5th annual music and camping festival have sold out. That sure was quick! It’s no surprise, though, as Electric Forest is one of the most intricately produced festival we’ve been to. That Forest, though! Tickets to the 4 day festival sold out 24-hours after the release of their 2015 lineup, about 3 1/2 months earlier than previous years! If that wasn’t enough to prove people adore the fest, EF’s variety of GOOD LIFE VIP experiences sold out in just minutes of going on sale this past December. The festival takes place June 25-28 of this year in Rothbury, Michigan.
Known for showcasing a mix of roots, rock and jam-style acts alongside some of dance music’s most relevant performers, Electric Forest 2015 again delivers a diverse lineup of over 100 established and emerging artists performing across 7 stages. For the 5th year in a row, Electric Forest welcomes back fan favorite The String Cheese Incident (performing 3 shows), plus heavyweights Bassnectar, Skrillex, Kaskade, Flume and Big Gigantic. Other acts include: Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Yonder Mountain String Band, Odesza, Paul Oakenfold, Lotus, Carnage, Carl Cox, G-Eazy, Flux Pavilion, Seun Kuti, Shpongle (Simon Posford DJ Set), Phantogram, Gramatik, Galactic with Macy Gray, Lettuce, Break Science, The Motet, John Digweed, EOTO, Alison Wonderland. And that’s not it… additional artists and curated events are still to be announced.
