Our First Interview with Leah Culver Back in 2015
Born and raised in Atlanta, 24-year-old CULVER (formerly MK Ultra) is electronic dance music’s new light, as a dynamic presence for the dance floor, personally cultivating her music from scratch and then giving it a voice. As a singing DJ and multi-instrumentalist (guitar and drums), CULVER is in a really small niche of performers. “Ex is a Loser” follows several one-off releases and collaborative tracks, including Twofold’s “Taken Back.”
In the pas two years Leah Culver has shared the stage and gained support from major artists including Adventure Club, The Chainsmokers, Steve Aoki, Benny Benassi, Laidback Luke, Candyland, Big KRIT, Trinidad James, Breathe Carolina, The Glitch Mob, Firebeatz, Alvin Risk, Autoerotique, Dotcom, Marty Party, Figure, Cash Cash, Porter Robinson, Terravita, 3lau, Zomboy, Excision, Knife Party, Baggi Begovic, Seven Lions, Griz, Dada Life, Paris & Simo, among many other artists. With performances at music festivals including Counterpoint, Magnetic, Impulse, Iris’ Imagine, Vortex and ATHFest, her hard work has earned her an inevitable role in the dance music community.
