3rd Annual Monster Energy Outbreak House
For its third consecutive year, the Monster Energy Outbreak House residency will return to South by Southwest® (SXSW®) Conference and Festivals from March 15 through Saturday, March 18. The four-day event’s main focus is to showcase and support 30 emerging acts in hip hop and EDM and with a new partnership with Trap Nation, the world’s largest music channel on YouTube with over 12 million subscribers, they have done that and more.

“We’re bringing an even stronger lineup, bigger production and a bit of a refresh to the Monster Energy Outbreak House this year–and we promise substantial surprise guest performances just like in previous years,” says producer/GM Steven Ljubicic. “We added extra focus to bringing credibility to the subgenres of EDM and emerging hip hop. Our goal is to champion these artists and feature them on one of our touring or festival properties and ultimately place them on the biggest national headlining tour of their career.”

The Monster Energy Outbreak House @ SXSW 2017 will begin Wednesday, March 15 and features performances from Young M.A., Ugly God, Illenium, Whethan, San Holo, Unlike Pluto, Night Lovell, Ekali, and 24HRS as well as surprise special guests. In addition, on Saturday, March 18, the house will officially host the SXSW Gaming Closing Party featuring DJ and gamer Alan Walker.
It’s all going down at the Old Antone’s venue located at 213 W 5th Street, Austin, TX 78701 (5th & Lavaca). Doors will open at 7:00pm each night, with each show running until 2:00am. Additionally, Monster Energy Women’s Ultra Mixer is heading to to South by Southwest® (SXSW®) Conference and Festivals on Friday, March 17th. The monthly event that revolves around celebrating women in media, music and the entertainment industry, brings together women that are key media and industry players in entertainment, Music, Film/TV, Tech, Lifestyle, Fashion, Health and Sports, as well as musicians, artists and creators in an intimate setting.
The SXSW® 2017 edition of Monster Energy Women’s Ultra Mixer will take place Friday, March 17 at the Monster Energy Outbreak House (old Antone’s space) in Austin, TX (213 W. Lavaca, 5th & Lavaca) from 11:00am–1:00pm.

The March event will honor Janet Pierson (Director of SXSW Film), Stacey Wilhelm (Senior Manager, SXSW Music Festival) and veteran music and entertainment journalist Lyndsey Parker Editor of YAHOO Music. The Swedish group Baskery will perform a short acoustic following the opening greeting. Monster Energy Women’s Ultra Mixer attendees will enjoy breakfast, tacos, mimosas, fruit juices and coffee. In addition, Guests will also have the chance to win various prizes including complimentary travel packages and more.
