The Recording Academy™ welcomes this year’s class of GRAMMY® nominees today! With 22,000 submissions across 84 categories, these nominations showcase some of the most talented music makers of the past awards year. The GRAMMY is the only peer-selected music award, being voted on by the Recording Academy’s membership body of music makers. The music makers represent all genres and creative disciplines, including recording artists, songwriters, producers, mixers, and engineers.
Leading Nominees
Already being a 21-time GRAMMY award winner, JAY-Z takes the lead with 8 nominations. Kendrick Lamar follows with 7 nominations while Bruno Mars has 6 nominations. Childish Gambino, Khalid, No I.D. and SZA all have 5 nominations.

Voting
The final round of GRAMMY voting is December 7th-21st, 2017. The GRAMMY Awards® will be presented by the Recording Academy on Sunday, January 28th, 2018. It will be live from Madison Square Garden in New York and broadcast on the CBS Television Network from 7:30-11:00 pm ET/4:30-8:00 pm PT.
