AFTERSHOCK FEST, SACREMENTO, CA NEW AND IMPROVED

California’s largest rock festival is schedule to shoot of the 24th and 25th of September. Monster Energy Aftershock is expanding with a new location to hold the projected crowd for 2015’s fest. Last year, the festival was held at the Discovery Park Sacramento with three stages and over 37 thousand in attendance. This year, the fest expanded to four stages, moving to Gibson Ranch, twenty minutes from Sacramento, to accommodate the expected outcome. The Gibson Ranch package has an exclusive wooden landscape, creating a more comfortable atmosphere in comparison to last year’s local at Discovery Park, when guests complained of dust clouds. Gibson has 30 acres of trees with trails and creeks to explore. With the new location, the festival is looking at a nine thousand increase in ticket sales. This year’s Aftershock will include on site camping for super cheap—a 2-day general admission going for a cool $115.50. Rolls off the tongue nicely, right?

WHAT TO EXPECT

With this year’s lineup, both artists and fans are anticipating the 2-day event. Monster’s Drink Energy Shock will have live, in-ring matches with WWE’s NXT Superstars, artist autograph signing at the Hospitality Rig from bands and performers, and beverage sampling with Tequila World, Thunder Valley

Casino Resort VIP Lounge, The Jack Daniel’s Experience, and The Crazy Dave’s Music Experience are the scratch in the surface of entertainment offered. On top of these awesome attractions, the festival will have a variety of food and beverage options, including local food trucks and various sponsored activities to check out.

The Tequila world, which I’m especially excited to see, will feature:

Patron, Don Julio, Cuervo, El Jimador, Espolon, and Cabo Wabo, offered to anyone over the age of twenty-one and with free admission

Jack Daniel’s mobile Museum and Crazy Dave’s Music Experience. Jack Daniel’s Mobile will take you through their history and how they became the best selling whiskey in the world, along with displaying the process of the whiskey making, an education you won’t want to miss!

The Crazy Dave’s Music Experience is a free exhibit to which you can view and interact with musical gear and equipment that many of the bands that are playing at the festival use themselves. You can interact with the gear as well as get artist signings with various members of the bands playing at the Aftershock Festival.

Sure, the music is loud and neighbors may be upset. But what complainers can’t get frisky about, is the outpouring flow in economy Aftershock produces. The festival’s revenue will highly impact the region, providing sales to hotels and local businesses that will be accommodating guests during their stay. The 2-day festival boasts an influential lineup, a new and improved location, and extra attractions, fetching eager crowds to attend a new and improved Aftershock.
