The pride of Moldova, the modern-day Mozart, Andrew Rayel, blessed the stage this last Friday at 45 East, the home of electronic music in Portland. The trance heavyweight brought his unique sonic signature to the Northwest with a balance of melodic tales, heavy hitters, and an array of mainstream tune transitions from the likes of Martin Garrix, Chainsmokers, and more!
The show wasn’t short of hand hearts, arm raising, jumping, and plur vibes via Andrew Rayel’s impromptu speeches throughout his set. In true trance superstar nature, he gave the crowd an arm workout that’ll leave them reeling until the end of the weekend ;).
The vivid, bright visuals curated for the show were fantastic as well, adding to the hype of the music. From the LED Screen to the spotlights, and with the addition of Andrew Rayel’s lasers to it all, it was game over. You can view a few videos from the show below.
Moments
This event also gave Andrew Rayel the opportunity to showcase his new album, Moments, which was recently released in May via Armada Music. This album is chock-full of melodic bangers, featuring vocals from a ton of artists including Eric Lumiere, Kristina Antuna, Emma Hewitt, Kye Sones, and more! Some tracks that stand out from the rest from a creativity perspective have to be the intro track “Moments”, the crowd interactive “All Systems Down”, and melodic trap/dubstep influenced “Home”. However, my personal favorite has to be “Forgiven”, thanks to a fantastic vocal from Jonathan Mendelsohn, a euphoric drop, and a feel-good melody that will keep you coming back for more.
