Arise Music Festival Reveals 2017 Dates

Arise Music Festival is back for its fifth annual year on August 4-6, 2017! Hosted at the gorgeous Sunrise Ranch in Loveland, Colorado, this special festival is selling exclusive “Loyalty Tickets” this year. They are available for purchase through Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 11:59 pm.

This amazing festival continues to be an outstanding experience while growing in popularity and reverence. This year, Arise Music Festival welcomed over 8,000 excited guests from almost every state in the country! Additionally, the music lineups that the festival has hosted have been incredible. World renown artists who were welcomed at Arise in the past include Ziggy Marley, Michael Franti, Jurassic 5, The Polish Ambassador, as well as hundreds of local, regional, and national touring artists.

Arise is More Than Just Music

Arise is not only admirable for its gorgeous scenery and awesome music. It is also acclaimed as being a leader in environmental stewardship in festival culture. Known as “much more than a music festival,” the event plants a tree for every ticket sold! The festival also enables active interaction with pertinent social issues.

In 2016, the festival hosted a press conference with the goal of drawing attention to two grassroots ballot initiatives, measures 75 and 78. Measure 75 addressed the subject of Local Control. If passed, Colorado communities would be given a choice about local gas and oil development. Measure 78 would demand mandatory setbacks of gas and oil development from homes and schools.

During the festival, both campaigns were coming to an end. Thus, Arise helped the measures gain enough signatures from registered Colorado voters to appear on the state ballot in November! Moreover, the festival hosted booths for various non-profit and non-partisan organizations to register new Colorado voters. It is therefore pretty obvious why Arise earned the title of being “politically charged” by Rolling Stone Magazine.
