Awakenings will keep their tradition going and hold its New Years parties at Gashouder in the Westergasfabriek terrain in Amsterdam. This year they are excited to announce the addition of a day event to help kick off the New Year Celebration. Doors will open at 1200 hrs on Saturday, December 30 for the New Year’s Special By Day featuring Joris Voorn, Richie Hawtin, and Chris Liebing, among others.
The first evening session on Saturday, December 30th will include top international techno artists such as Adam Beyer, Loco Dice and many more. The night will come to an exciting close with Joseph Capriati.
We’ll be closing out 2017 on the 31st of December with our New Years Eve special featuring the best of the techno scene. Makam will open the evening at 2230 h followed by Maceo Plex, Pan-Pot, and Amelie Lens to close the night.
Finally, the New Year’s Day Special on January 1st brings an impressive lineup all day from 1900 to 0700 h featuring Roman Lindau, Remko Beekwilder, Charlotte de Witte, Sam Pagini, Len Faki and Dax J. Finally, Headstrong will bring the three-day New-Years celebration to an explosive conclusion.
