BATTLE OF THE BANDS AT THE WHISKY A GO-GO

The highly anticipated SiriusXM’s Hair Nation Festival Battle of the Bands will kick off this Wednesday, August 17. This battle of music is located at the famous Whisky A Go-G0 on Sunset Blvd in West Hollywood, California. The event is a competition where eight unsigned bands will be competing for the favor of the judges. What is the prize? The grand prize winner will have the incredible opportunity to perform at next month’s SiriusXM’s Hair Nation Festival as an opener on the main stage! The band that places second will get the chance of opening on the second stage.

Who are the judges who determine which bands will win for such an awesome opportunity? No less than a star-studded list of judges will make these important decisions.  Lita FordEddie Trunk, Brent Woods (guitarist for Sebastian Bach), Tracii Guns (LA Guns)and Jay Ruston (producer/engineer for artists such as Anthrax, Steel Panther, Stone Sour, The Winery Dogs, and more) will be members of the judging panel.

  Doors open at 7 pm. The battle will ensue until 11:30 pm.

The exciting Sirius XM’s Hair Nation Festival is less than a month away, with all festivities scheduled for September 17th! The fun will take place at the Irvine Meadows Amphitheater in Southern California.
