The BPM Festival: Portugal doubled its lineup this year for its first stop in Europe. September 14th to the 17th, the 10-year festival will be bringing electronic music to Portimão and Lagoa, Portugal. The BPM Festival put together an insane artist lineup including over 150 of the world’s top underground talent. Anja Schneider, Cassy, Danny Tenaglia, Guti, Josh Wink, Paco Osuna are just a few additions to this year’s festival on top of big names such as Apollonia, Dubfire, Jamie Jones and Loco Dice. Plus the festival is bringing in some of the top party brands and label showcases at the new indoor and outdoor venues.
The Venue
With over 2 dozen party brands and label showcases from around the world included, there will be six venues next to one another on the coast of Portimão and Lagoa. Blanco beach club will present daily parties on the beach featuring Stereo Productions and All Day I Dream.
Beach club NoSoloÁgua will have festival-goers dancing during the day with Brazil’s Warung hosted by Ibiza Voice, Jamie Jones’ globetrotting party band Paradise and the Portuguese debut of Spanish partystarters elrow with still more to be announced. And, to keep it going well into the night, Lagoa’s Centro de Congressos do Arade will be the place for BPM’s signature party YA’AH MUUL hosted by Deep House Amsterdam, Ibiza underground staple ANTS, and much more.
While at BPM, attendees will be able to watch the sunset listening to Hector’s Vatos Locos collective and more. At the Ocean’s Club, Romania’s SUNRISE and Don’t Be Leftout with Visionquest can be seen while enjoying their brand new rooftop. For late night, parties French label, FORM Music will be hosting at the Katedral nightclub along with Stefano Noferini’s Deeperfect.
With the phase 2 artist lineup and showcase programming released, the anticipation continues to build for the festival brand’s first European edition as part of its global expansion plans.
