C3 PRESENTS AND RED BULL MEDIA HOUSE TO PRODUCE AUSTIN CITY LIMITS MUSIC FESTIVAL LIVESTREAM

ACL Livestream

Watch the ACL Livestream during weekend two!

The Austin City Limits music festival, produced by C3 Presents, is one of the biggest annual Austin events, as well as one of the most popular festivals in the United States. Now spanning two weekends, ACL is known for being at the forefront of festival technology. After the success of 2014’s Lollapalooza Livestream (also produced by C3 Presents), C3 is teaming up with Red Bull Media House to co-produce the livestream from Weekend Two of the Austin City Limits Music Festival. Weekend two takes place October 10 – 12, and will feature headliners like Outkast, Skrillex, Beck, Pearl Jam, Lana Del Rey, Lorde, Spoon, Interpol, and many more.

The Livestream will be available to the public via the Red Bull TV player which can be accessed through Red Bull’s website or on the ACL Festival website. The streams will combine a broadcast-like approach (think old-school MTV VJs) with interactive social media engagement opportunities. Viewers can select from two channels. The first will be a hosted stream featuring artist interviews, behind-the-scenes access, unique POV angles, festival highlights, and more. The second channel captures live performances from the four main stages for an “all live, all the time” experience. The official broadcast schedule will be announced on October 6th, so keep an eye out!

Fans who are not able to attend the festival can catch the ACL Festival Livestream from 2-10pm Central time, and fans attending the fest can watch anything they might have missed on looping replays. The coolest part about this is that whether or not music lovers attend the festival, they can watch their favorite performances (uploaded daily), which will be made available for 60 days in the Red Bull TV player. No laptop? No problem. Red Bull TV is available on your phone through Android and iOS applications, as a free, downloadable app on Amazon Fire TV, Kindle Fire and Xbox 360 devices, and is actually a pre-installed channel on Samsung Smart TVs and Apple TV.
