After 10 years in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico, BPM Festival has relocated to Portugal and the first edition was a huge success! The festival ran from September 14-17 and attracted approximately 12,000 attendees from 90 different countries. As always, BPM had an impressive lineup that included big-time names like Hot Since 82, Jamie Jones, Loco Dice, Dubfire, Danny Tenaglia, Chris Liebing, Eats Everything, and many more. Hosting parties at a variety of different venues- ranging from intimate clubs to huge outdoor mega-venues with state of the art light and sound systems- BPM showed their fans that they are committed to bringing them truly unique and amazing experiences.
With a similar feel to Playa Del Carmen, the Portimao strip was the perfect location for BPM Festival. The strip is nestled on a 200+ foot cliff that follows along the beach coast, giving guests a breathtaking backdrop to enjoy. The town is filled with bars, clubs, restaurants, and casinos that make every night a new and electrifying experience.
Talk about next year’s festival and expanding is already in the works. BPM festival will be returning to the beautiful beachside towns of Portimão and Lagoa in Portugal for September 2018. They are also scouting out new beach locations for January 2019, since the festival has decided it will not return to Mexico. Stay tuned for dates and more exciting news to come!
