The Cut Snake project harnesses the split life of Paul ‘Fish’ Fisher and Leigh ‘Sedz’ Sedley – a combination of surfing the sun swept shores of Australia and attending the best parties in the world.
Paradise’ ft Kaneholler, the second track off their ‘Life’s a Beach’ EP, combines a smooth beachside vibe with the passionate vocals of Chelsea Tyler co-written by bandmate and husband Jon Foster. The result is a sultry exposé of sunset House music made for kicking back and keeping summer alive.
The boys are headed out on a US tour this week, hitting Webster Hall in New York, Audio in San Francisco, and EOS Lounge in Santa Barbara. Then they are travelling back down-under for a series of shows across Australia and New Zealand, including stops in Wollongong, Bali, Fiji, Sydney, Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane, Queenstown, Auckland, Raglan, and Gisborne.‘Life’s a Beach’ comes on the wake of a massive 2015 for Cut Snake with releases like ‘Face Down’ and ‘Jungle Shrimp’ still rattling clubs and airwaves plus outrageous showings at Holy Ship and CRSSD Festival and a 15 stop homecoming Australian tour.
After two killer tracks earlier this year that have been supported by the likes of KCRW and Triple J, Cut Snake are ready to make their debut EP, ‘Life’s a Beach’, set for release November 6th on Warner Bros Records featuring cover art by Australian native Jamie Browne.
