With more than 90,000 headliners in attendance over two days, Escape hosted 80 artists who created an incredible soundtrack for fans to remember this Halloween weekend. Deep and future House phenomenon Oliver Heldens rocked his TMNT (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle) costume as he closed out The Chopping Block. Armin van Buurren delivered a state of trance to thousands of fans at the Slaughterhouse. And those who partied at the Ghouls’ Graveyard caught a glimpse of Steve Aoki’s neon future, jam-packed with hard-hitting electro and energy.

Six undiscovered artists chosen through Insomniac’s Discovery Project competition played to a brand new audience on the Bayou Voodoo Mansion stage. The stage drew inspiration from the Gulf Coast, complete with a porch, plant life, a banjo player and a spooky voodoo lounge that featured couches and an Ouija board. Found and recycled materials were used to construct the stage.

Two Insomniac curated art installations added to the haunting atmosphere of the festival. The One-Eyed Monster Art Car wore it’s own Halloween costume which included devil horns and a custom red suit. With bright lights in various hues and flame effects, the 28-foot Cactaferrum art piece made its festival debut at Escape. The towering installation captured the phases of plant from bud to flower.
