Insomniac Reveals New Premier Dining Options & Wedding Package Details for Electric Daisy Carnival, Las Vegas
Insomniac is excited to announce that it has expanded its food offerings at the sold-out Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC), Las Vegas to include fresh fare from local hot spots, a diverse group of food trucks, catering options for weddings, as well as the return of the VIP dining deck. Whether fans are looking for something sweet or savory, a bite on the go or a sit-down experience, there will be a number of new tasty options available.
New this year, well-known Las Vegas food trucks will roll into the Las Vegas Motor Speedway to provide fans a variety of food menus throughout the festival grounds. Fare will be available for purchase from food trucks such as Bake My Day Cupcakes, Can’t Dutch This, Dragon Grille, Lobsta Trap, Oming’s Kitchen, Sausagefest, Sin City Dogs, Sully’s Taste of Chicago, The Hummus Factory, Truk-N-Yaki and Wa Da Pho. Additionally, local restaurants including Desnudo Tacos, District One, Nacho Daddy, Naked City Pizza and Skinny Fats will serve up a selection of signature menu items for the first time at EDC.
The VIP Dining Deck will return for the second year and offer a seated, multi-course dinner from Chef Keven Lee as festival-goers enjoy the views overlooking the KineticFIELD stage. Recognized as one of Hollywood’s hottest culinary masterminds, Chef Lee in conjunction with Kitchen24 will prepare three courses of gourmet cuisine that draws inspiration from the energetic atmosphere of the dusk-till-dawn festival.
“Last year’s sit-down dinner was the best dining experience I have ever had at any festival,” said Pasquale Rotella, CEO and founder of Insomniac “I’m excited to continue creating that experience with our incredible partners at Kitchen 24. This is a completely new way to experience EDC.”
VIP ticket holders who book a reserved time slot will begin their culinary journey with bite-sized hors d’œuvres, followed by a choice of an appetizer such as the Electric Fruit Bowl and Graffiti Tacos. The main, and final, course will feature four options including a Kobe Kong Massive Meatball served with grilled garlic broccoli, White Cheddar, Barley and Polenta Cake that can also be supplemented with tofu as a vegan option, Furamaki Ahi Tuna, or a turkey burger on a fresh brioche bun. All guests must already have a VIP or Cabana wristband to enter the dining deck area. Reservations are available in two-hour time slots between 8 p.m. and 4 a.m. and can be made online. Packages are $75 per person and can accommodate up to eight guests per table.
For those that are looking for a quick bite, the VIP Café will offer tastes from Las Vegas food trucks Dragon Grille, Quality Food Service and That’s Amore as well as tastes from Chef Lee. Menu items will span across various cultures and include beef brisket, Asian-marinated chicken, pork dumplings, meatball sandwiches, sausage and pepper sandwiches, carne asada fries, and the PLUR smoothie that mixes pineapple, lemonade, ume plum and raspberry for a cool treat. The Café deck will be open from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. and will allow guests to choose a specially curated meal from one of the gourmet food tucks. In order to gain access, fans need to purchase a pass for $60, which will give them access to one specialty meal per day during all three days of the festival. These passes can be purchased in advance online or on site at the host stand.
For the second year in a row, EDC is providing fans with the exciting opportunity to get married at the festival and, for the first time, this year’s wedding packages also include reception options for the entire wedding party to enjoy. The first package, available for $35 per person, will include passed appetizers, a celebratory champagne toast and dedicated wait staff. The second option priced at $125 per person, will also include a choice of an entrée from the VIP Dining Deck menu and a commemorative bottle of champagne for the bride and groom signed by the Insomniac team. Cake options are also available by special request. Reservations are required and groups must be a minimum of six people.
