The sixth edition of Electric Zoo 2014 returned to the grassy fields of Randall’s Island Park this Labor Day weekend with tens of thousands of dance music fans coming together to celebrate and come to life with music and friends. Although the festivities were cut short by severe weather conditions on the last day, there were countless number of amazing sets, new tracks being debuted, and many new memories being shared.
“Seeing the island fill up with fans again this year was nothing short of joyful for us. And as a testimony to the power and growth of Electronic Dance Music, each stage was throbbing, from the big sounds on both Main Stages to the smooth mixes on the Vinyl Only Stage, and every one in between. New York City loves dance music, and this year more than ever was a celebration of that fact!”– Mike Bindra & Laura De Palma, creators of Electric Zoo
For the first time ever, Electric Zoo along with social media agency Fame House, partnered with Snapchat and Reddit to pioneer new paradigms for live event coverage with Snapchat’s “Our Electric Zoo Story” and Reddit Live feed features bringing the festival experience to fans all around the globe.
