Techno heads, brace yourselves. Berlin’s favourite extraterrestrial, Ellen Allien has just announced the launch of her brand new label, UFO Inc. On January 28, she’ll give fans a taste of the imprint’s sound with the release of its debut EP, UFO produced by yours truly.
UFO Inc. marks Allien’s second label venture. Her BPitch Control, founded in 1999 has grown to become a globally recognized brand and won the hearts of electronic music lovers from all corners of the world. So what should we expect from UFO Inc? Well, as stated in a press release, “UFO Inc. will be dedicated to a rough and raw approach to contemporary techno.” Rough and raw? Not surprising for the Berlin artist!
The EP will feature two originals, “UFO”, a hard-hitting acid belter and “Körpermaschine”, an ecstatic peak-time tune that will rock the dance floor. Check out the teasers below:
