Famous Dex releases first single, “Pick It Up” featuring A$AP Rocky, on the much-anticipated debut album, Dex Meets Dexter. Complex originally premiered the hype new record yesterday and spoke with Famous Dex about the debut album and his collab with A$AP on. “’Pick It Up’ was something very different for me. Especially getting ASAP [Rocky] on the record is a big, big look for me. It was kind of different,” Dex told Complex. Fki starts off the track with a bouncy rhythm, Dex comes in with an energetic hook and Rocky follows through with his signature flow.
In addition to dropping “Pick It Up,” Famous Dex kicked off his nationwide Dexter Tour in Boise, ID. The nationwide tour will conclude in Phoenix, AZ.
Famous Dex’ debut album, Dex Meets Dexter, is due out this winter and “Pick It Up,” featuring A$AP Rocky, will be available tomorrow (10/20) at 12AM/EST.
