Five Finger Death Punch Releases New Music Video

Rock music superstars, the band Five Finger Death Punch, their new music video for their next single, “I Apologize, ” on July 22. The new song is from their sixth album, Got Your Six. The story of this new video is follows a fascinating narrative. The camera shadows Ivan Moody in a cemetery where many rock legends are laid to rest. The graves of Amy Winehouse, Elvis, Kurt Cobain, and Jimi Hendrix are among those visible in the footage. Directed by Nathan Cox, video was shot at Angelus Rosedale Cemetery in Los Angeles.

The band members disclosed information about the video, explaining its metaphorical imagery. They quote, “The video is a dark somber metaphor that speaks for itself. I don’t think we need a parallel narrative to explain it or emphasize its impact as almost everyone knows someone struggling with some form of addiction. It’s real for everybody. We have even been losing exceptionally bright, talented people who you’d assume know better. No matter how much support you provide, ultimately it’s everyone’s own decision to face their demons or perish.”

Five Finger Death Punches the Charts

“I Apologize” is the fourth single from Five Finger Death Punch’s popular album, Got Your Six. This album broke new records for 5FDP, hitting higher numbers on global charts than ever. The album even scored the band a US#1 spot with its release in September, 2105. Its two most popular singles, “Jekyll and Hyde” and “Wash It All Away” both hit an impressive #1 status on the charges. Since its release, Got Your Six has sold 370K units.

Got Your Six also just reached gold status this week after its September release. This impressive status joins the collection of the band’s achievements: the 5FDP’s 2009 album, War is the Answer, recently becoming platinum, while their 2013 album, The Wrong Side Of Heaven And The Righteous Side Of Hell, Vol. 1 also obtaining gold status.

The success of Five Finger Death Punch’s most recent album is no surprise as the band has reached impressive heights in only a few years. The band managed to rack up 16 top 10 hits in a row, and give #1 hits, one platinum and four gold albums.

5FDP’s guitarist, Zoltan Bathory, comments on the exciting tours, “I wanted to give you a brilliant quote about trying to keep rock music alive by assembling bills that can sell out arenas where everyone can have the production rock shows deserve, or bringing out new talented bands and expose them to huge crowds… or about rebuilding a community with the help of rock radio, and donating to good causes while we are at it… but we are so busy doing it that I ran out of quotes.”
