Float Fest 2018

Float Fest

Floating down the river on a sunny summer day is a Texas tradition. Float Fest in San Marcos, Texas celebrates this by fusing it into the music festival experience. Float down the river, take in the sunshine, and enjoy an impressive lineup headlined by TAME IMPALA, BASSNECTAR, and SNOOP DOGG!  The full schedule is out now and includes the times and locations for the 20+ artists playing during the two-day fest! See the full schedule below.

The “Float” part of Float Fest takes place on the San Marcos river running through the festival grounds. Attendees can purchase “Float Passes” as an add-on to their festival ticket. This includes shuttle to the river drop-in point, tube rental, and a float trip of about 2-4.5 hours depending on river flow. Passes start at $20 for a single day. Float coolers can also be rented to maximize the river float experience. There is no discount for bringing your own tubes, but absolutely bring plenty of sunscreen and water!

Tame Impala, Bassnectar, Glass Animals, Snoop Dogg, and Modest Mouse all in one weekend! Check out our review of last year’s Float Fest here!
