FPSF 2017 Performance Schedule

Free Press Summer Festival has officially announced the 2017 performance schedule, revealing headliners G-Eazy and Cage The Elephant performing on Saturday, and Lorde and Flume performing on Sunday. This announcement also comes with new additions to this year’s lineup, featuring performances from Miike Snow, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, Party Favor, Trill Sammy and Mod Sun. More than 55 artists will perform on 4 stages as the ninth annual festival returns to Eleanor Tinsley Park in downtown Houston, TX on June 3 and 4. For the full festival schedule, click here.

New Additions to Festival Program

In addition, FPSF has unveiled it’s new festival food court, Houston Eats, offering attendees an elevated dining experience curated by chefs Seth Siegel-Gardner and Terrence Gallivan. Both co-owners of The Pass and Provisions, they will hand select the many high-quality food vendors that best represent the Houston culinary scene. These two-time James Beard Award semifinalists have already started the selection process and vendors will be announced soon. In the meantime, fans can get excited for the items The Pass and Provisions will be serving: a few versions of fried chicken sandwiches and house-made ice cream to cut the heat.

“We want the food selection to be a small snapshot of restaurants we love in Houston,” said Terrence Gallivan. “We’ll also choose spots that serve festival-friendly food-what people want to eat when they’re rocking out.”

Also new in 2017 is the implementation of the Rock & Recycle Program, where fans can earn free FPSF swag just by helping to keep Eleanor Tinsley Park clean, as well as locker rentals to store belongings while enjoying the show and a new partnership with FanZone, where patrons can catch an official shuttle, carpool with fans in their area, join a rideshare and more. FPSF will also upgrade the festival experience by providing environmentally friendly, flushable toilets in various areas of the park.
