New York City’s 10th edition Governors Ball Music Festival line-up is finally here! What started as a one-day inaugural affair in 2011 has grown into a weekend-long annual tradition enjoyed by music fans from around the world.
Just a short trip out of the city, Randall’s Island Park has been home to Governors Ball since the beginning. With over four stages, and 70 acts this year will mark New York City’s first major headline show (in over a decade) featuring performances from Tame Impala, Missy Elliott, Flume, Vampire Weekend, Stevie Nicks, Solange, Miley Cyrus, Ellie Goulding, H.E.R., RUFUS DU SOL, Portugal, The Man, Foals, Summer Walker, John Bellion, Milky Chance, and many many more!

The festival was created to give New Yorkers in their early 20s who wanted their city to host to a music festival comparable to other world renowned festivals. Media outlets such as the Rolling Stones describe the show as “The East Coast’s only true great summer festival”.
Aside from the on-stage performances, spectators are invited to enjoy street and subway performers, as well as breath-taking art installations. This year’s food lineup will feature (as always) the BEST food the city has to offer! In addition, there will be craft cocktails, beer, and some lawn games.
With each passing year, Founders Entertainment strives to ensure the attendees walk away with a positive experience. Additionally, a policy stating persons under 18 must attend the festival with an adult aged 21 or older has been implemented. Oh, and last but not least, Governor’s Ball is pleased to inform festival-goers that they have upgraded the festival grounds with vacuum flush toilets!
