Hakkasan Group Hosts Unforgettable Fight Weekend Parties

Over this past weekend was one of the biggest fights in history! The Mayweather vs. McGregor fight was held on August 26th at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada. The Hakkasan Group hosted an unforgettable weekend of events in Las Vegas for the fight.

JEWEL Nightclub

Located inside the ARIA Resort & Casino, JEWEL Nightclub hosted a numerous amount of talented artists starting on Friday, August 25 with hip-hop icon J Cole.

J Cole’s high energy performance brought several stars to JEWEL, including a Golden State Warrior Draymond Green, hip-hop artist Chance the Rapper, and famous actor and singer Jamie Foxx. Green arrived at his VIP table with a large group of people late Friday night where Chance soon joined him for a round of drinks. DJ Justin Credible got Chance on his feet and on top of his table when he played his hit song “No Problem”. Meanwhile, Jamie Foxx stayed at JEWEL until the early morning partying with his group at his VIP table.

Jamie Foxx returned to JEWEL the following night to host the special fight night party. Foxx danced on top of the DJ booth singing some of his hit songs while even hosting an unofficial dance off between guests. Too Short made a surprise appearance later that night treating guests to some of his hits like the classic party tune “Blow the Whistle”.

Adding to the list of celebrities in the club, Oscar winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio and A-list actor Toby Maguire arrived late in the night at JEWEL. Foxx got the entire crowd chanting DiCaprio’s name after spotting him and announcing there was a wolf in the building, referencing The Wolf of Wall Street. DiCaprio and his 25 guests were very amused. At the same time, Maguire showed up with around 6 guests and made his way directly to the DJ booth. Foxx soon noticed Maguire and announced that the real Spiderman was in the house to get the crowd cheering even more.

Hakkasan Las Vegas Nightclub

Hakkasan Las Vegas Nightclub is the top nightlife destination in the MGM Grand. They hosted a knockout of a fight weekend, kicking off with Deorro to take energy levels to an all time high on Thursday, August 24. “Real Housewives of Orange County” star Kelly Dodd was spotted enjoying herself in the DJ booth.

On Friday, August 25, DJ Steve Aoki wowed fans with his performance. Reality star Brody Jenner, former Dallas Cowboy Michael Irvin and stock car race driver James “Denny” Hamlin followed Aoki’s set with a confetti filled set and some of their top hits.

Following the fight weekend lineup, Travis Scott took the stage on Saturday, August 26. Rapper Quavo surprised guests by hoping on stage to perform a few songs with Scott. Also in attendance that night was artist Chance the Rapper and Frank Ocean. 

On Sunday, August 27, Borgeous closed out the weekend by giving the guests one last memorizing night.

OMNIA Nightclub

OMNIA Nightclub, located down the strip inside Caesars Palace, brought in Calvin Harris to start of fight weekend on Friday, August 25. Calvin played for a sold out crowd, including current announcer for FOX NASCAR Jeff Gordon. 

One of electronic dance music’s biggest DJs, Kaskade, rounded up the weekend with the perfect post fight celebration on Saturday, August 26.

1 OAK Nightclub

1 OAK Nightclub brought a memorable performance by Wale to the Mirage on Friday, August 25. The club was packed with guests who held a high energy dancing and partying until the morning hours.

Following the energy levels, DJ Bamboozle took the stage on Saturday, August 26. YG performed after Bamboozle with his chart topping rap songs for the lively partygoers.

WET REPUBLIC

The party not only lasted throughout the night until early morning hours, but also kept going during the daytime hours at WET REPUBLIC in the MGM Grand this fight weekend. Starting the day parties, DJ Shift took the stage to perform during the Grand Finale of the iconic Hot 100 competition. This 16 week bikini competition had one last battle for the prize at WET REPUBLIC. After the intense runway the judging panel chose 3 girls to come out on top. Jana Breslin placed third and won $10,000. Darrian Dallas placed second and won $15,000. Tawny Ring placed first and won the grand prize of $25,000.

Kaskade took over on Saturday, August 26 where he played until the sun set to a pool full of partygoers.

Finishing up the weekend on Sunday, August 27, Nervo performed an unforgettable “Endless Sundays” party. Poolgoers danced in a pool surrounded with unlimited champagne to some of the duo’s famous beats.

LIQUID Pool Lounge

LIQUID Pool Lounge had an energy lifting array of events for the special fight weekend at ARIA Resort & Casino. Beginning the weekend, reality TV star turned DJ Brody Jenner celebrated his birthday with a set filled with chart topping hits to entertain the guests all afternoon.

DJ Chase B took the stage the following day up until Jamie Foxx spontaneously arrived at the DJ booth and took over hosting at the dayclub. Foxx pumped up the unexpecting crowd with his impromptu performance. Joseph Gettright ended the weekend at LIQUID with a mind blowing set on Sunday.
