HALSEY RELEASES THE MUSIC VIDEO FOR “STRANGERS” FEAT. LAUREN JAUREGUI
Over the past year, Halsey has taken fans through the story of two lovers overcoming the odds together. The Romeo and Juliet inspired narrative concludes today with the release of “Strangers,” the final chapter. This NSFW video featuring Lauren Jauregui is the last piece of a story told through Halsey’s saga of self-directed videos. The five-part series also includes videos for the songs “Now or Never,” “Bad at Love,” “Sorry” and “Alone,” all tracks from Halsey’s second album Hopeless Fountain Kingdom.
Halsey addressed the wait and her own excitement for “Strangers” in a tweet. “It’s the most special one!!!!!! It killed me to wait. Everyone wanted it so badly I was dying.”

Halsey rose to prominence with “Closer” (2016), a collaboration with The Chainsmokers, which topped the charts in major music markets. Her second studio album, Hopeless Fountain Kingdom (2017), consisted of more “radio-friendly” music than her prior releases. It became her first album to top the US Billboard 200, and generated the single “Bad at Love“, which became her first top five entry on the Billboard Hot 100 as a lead artist.
