Lightning in a Bottle, sometimes called the love child of Burning Man and Coachella, has announced it’s 2015 dates and location. Festie-goers who attend usually return devout fans, and many prepare all year for the event. The Do Lab announced recently that the transformational fest, which will be celebrating its ten year anniversary, will take place over Memorial Day Weekend (May 21st – 25th) at San Antonio Recreation Area in Bradley, CA.
Many people say that 2014 was the best LIB yet, which is why they are so excited to return to the San Antonio Recreation Area. The last two festivals have been held in different, new locations, so The Do LaB will have the opportunity to build and improve off of last year’s efforts.
2014’s headliners included Moby, Little Dragon, Phantogram, Gramatik, Beats Antique and Amon Tobin, so you know this years is going to be killer. If that wasn’t enough, it was recently announced that IS050 (Scott Hansen of Tycho) will be the lead visual designer for LiB 2015. This will surely make for one of the most amazing years LIB has ever experienced!
Tickets go on sale January 5th at 10AM for a “Rush-n-Get-Em 24-hour ticket window” starting at $235 for the full weekend pass. “Up-And-At-Em“ tickets go on sale the day after for $260. Be sure to grab your ticket early if this is a must-attend for you, as the limited car camping, boutique camping, and lightning spots might sell out!
