About EDC Japan

Insomniac, the force behind epic festivals such as Nocturnal Wonderland and the Electric Daisy Carnival franchise, announced with its partners GMO Internet Group, Creativeman, and Live Nation the official lineup for the first Electric Daisy Carnival in Tokyo, Japan! The highly anticipated EDC Japan will take place on Saturday April 29 – Sunday April 30th in Tokyo Bay. The event will transform the gorgeous Zozo Marin Stadium and Makuhari Beach into a wondrous beach-side celebration.  The venue will host four of EDC’s iconic stages where some of the best, most talented, and globally famous artists in dance music will perform. Some of these performers include Armin Van Buuren, AfroJack, Duke Dumont, Axwell ^ Ingrosso, Kaskade, Galantis, Martin Garrix, Marshmello, Zedd, and many more!

The inauguration of EDC Japan will  mark EDC’s 5th international destination. The franchise is world-famous for its unrivaled production and attention to detail. Visitors of this Japanese extravaganza will enjoy all the awe-inspiring creative elements that Electric Daisy Carnival is renowned for. The event will host ground-breaking performances by icons such as Seven Lions, Nicole Moudaber, Fatboy Slim, Gryffin, Cut Snake, and Dubfire. There will also be a cutting-edge Boombox Art car that was designed just for EDC Japan! This unique invention will weave through the festival as it blasts powerful beats from premium local Headliners. Guests can therefore “grove on the move” between the epic performance sets!

The Experience

Electric Daisy Carnival, Japan will be an incredibly unique experience, as the celebration site is surrounded by Tokyo Bay’s breathtaking water and views of Tokyo’s beautiful skyline. The festival’s Headliners will perform on the world-famous kineticCathedral stage. This is a glorious structure that first appeared at EDC’s 2014 event in Las Vegas. Since its premiere, the kineticCathedral has amazed audiences in New York, Orlando, Brazil, Mexico, the UK, and India! KineticCathedral will flabbergast the crowd with  colorful flames, hundreds of lights, and two colossal owls. The ZoZo Marine Baseball Stadium will host this spectacle.

The neonGarden tent, another trademark of the EDC series, will envelop the Makuhari Plaza. In addition, the huge circuitGROUNDS structure will be a host to fantastic performances while overlooking the ocean.
