The second annual Mysteryland Electronic Music, Culture and Arts festival is just over a month away. From EDM, to trap, techno, deep house, dubstep, and much more – there’s no doubt that one of the many stages will have something for you and your crew. We here at Festpop are getting geared up and have the our 10 favorite artists playing MLUSA 2015 that you need to check out. Our list below is a blend of must-see, big name acts alongside up-and-coming artists we’re excited to catch.
GRiZ
If you’re looking for a funky fresh sound in the electronic space, look no further than Grant Kwiecinski, aka GRiZ. Beyond his notable saxophone-laced live sets, Kwiecinski blasts some serious face melters while on stage, too. His anticipated album, Say It Loud, dropped late March, so fans old and new can expect a hellova show.

Dillon Francis

Equally as known for his snarky and irreverent personality as his music, Dillon Francis is an artist in his own category. After launching his career with moombahton, Francis has grown: he has produced hit, genre-defying tracks and partnered with unexpected artists like DJ Snake, A-Trak and most recently Kygo.
Diplo
Instrumental Hip Hop, Trap, Funk Carioca, Fidget House, Electro, Bounce
MLUSA Details: Sunday, the Main Stage
What can’t be said about Thomas Wesley Pentz, aka Diplo? He’s a fashion icon, a music mogul, an alluring spokesman, and a “Producer of the Year” Grammy nominee. As founder of Mad Decent, Diplo continues to navigate the electronic music space with genre-defying tracks and artist signings. Not to be missed show.
Bro Safari
“There are no boundaries, only beats” (Moombahton, Trap)
MLUSA Details: Saturday, The Boat, hosted by Bro Safari’s Animal House
Producer Nick Weiller was raised on hip-hop. DJ Magic Mike, NWA and many others influenced him in ways that shine through in his production today. Bro Safari originally got into the electronic music game with moombahton, but has since dabbled in disparate genres like high energy drum n’ bass.
Madeon
Electropop, Electro House, Mashup, Complextro, Trancestep

20 year old electro pheonom Hugo Leclercq, aka Madeon, hardly requires an introduction. Starting in his late teens Madeon skyrocketed to international fame via his original tracks and incredible mashups and hasn’t stopped expanding his repertoire since. His debut album, Adventure, dropped in January and has been well received.
TropKillaz
Trap, Nueva Cumbia, Beach Bass
MLUSA Details: Exclusive to on-site campers at the Camping Circus
When Brazillian producers DJ Zegon and Laudz collaborate they become Tropkillaz. DJ Zegon has been around the production game for a while – working with with M.I.A., Kanye, RZA and others – and up-and-comer Laudz has already worked worked with Dr. Dre and Snoop. Their mix of dancehall trap, electro and tropical bass is unlike anything else in the game.
Porter Robinson
Electropop, Synthpop, Electro/Progressive House, House, Progressive Electronic
MLUSA Details: Saturday, the Main Stage
Fresh off an MTUu “Artist of the Year” nomination, American producer and DJ Porter Robinson is a must-see act. Worlds, his debut album, was released on Astralwerks in 2014 and contains some incredible collaborations as well as original tracks. A headliner in his own right, Porter will sure be a treat for all first-time viewers.
Minnesota
Glitch Hop, Electronica, Dubstep
MLUSA Details: Saturday, The Boat stage
While he’s still flying somewhat below the radar, Minnesota’s hip-hop infused electronic will surely draw tons more attention in 2015. Case in point: every single track on his sophomore release, Ancient Machines, charted on Beatport. Minnesota, nice.
Empire of the Sun
Electropop, Electronic Rock, Electro House, New Way, Synthpop, Indietronica
MLUSA Details: Saturday, the Main Stage
These guys are easily one of the best touring artists in the world right now. Their phenomenal live shows are the stuff of legends and like nothing else out there. The Australian alt/electronic pioneers are poised to be one of the best shows of MLUSA. Get ready. Bring your headdress.
CLASSIXX
Blend of Disco, New Wave, Funk, House, and Indie Rock
MLUSA Details: Sunday, the Main Stage
Influenced by punk, disco, and French house, the LA duo Classixx is the product of a lifelong friendship between Michael David and Tyler Blake. Internationally respected, Classixx bring bright melodies to funky baselines and drum tracks. Oh, and they’ve produced dozens of acclaimed remixes for artists like Phoenix, Holy Ghost, Groove Armada, Yacht, and Major Lazer.
