Adding yet another fun component to its September Festival, Boston Calling announces today that it is incorporating the Samuel Adams annual Boston Octoberfest celebration into its three-day music festival this September 5 – 7, 2014.
Boston Calling ticketholders who are 21+ will now be able to enjoy the festival in true Samuel Adams Octoberfest style, including its popular seasonal beer, stein-hoisting competitions, and traditional German fare such as warm pretzels and grilled sausages. Boston Calling anticipates another unique and exciting festival with performances over three days by the likes of The National, Lorde, and Nas x The Roots. Now in its second year and fourth installment, Boston Calling takes place at City Hall Plaza [One City Hall Square, Boston, Massachusetts]; www.bostoncalling.com
Fans are encouraged to dust off their German lederhosen and dirndls, and come to Boston Calling dressed in costume to partake in the Octoberfest bash within the festival. In addition to stein hoisting, attendees will be able to immortalize the moment in a Samuel Adams Octoberfest photo booth and enjoy plenty of lawn games in a beer hall setting. For Samuel Adams, the Fall festival is part of a year-long 30th Anniversary celebration and for attendees, it will be the ultimate Octoberfest event and craft beer experience, complete with access to various Samuel Adams brews.
