BottleRock returns to Napa for a third year over May 29-31st with a lineup that will appeal to any music fanatic. One of California’s upcoming boutique festivals has quickly proven to be a staple in the California festival scene and just keeps getting better all while keeping a low-key vibe.

The line up features massive headliners including Imagine Dragons, Robert Plant, and No Doubt. The smaller names on the lineup won’t disappoint with plenty of lesser-known artists to discover, showcasing the lineups true diversity. Everything from Mowgli’s pop alternative, Fritz Montana’s indie blues, to Moonalice mixing plenty of genres into their psychedelic rock style.

After facing some growing pains in its rookie year; including $9.5 million in losses and plenty of distraught vendors, the festival was acquired by Latitude 38 Entertainment. The decision to keep the festival in Napa was a great call as it provides local businesses (world class vineyards and restaurants) with the opportunity to showcase themselves to a larger audience at once. Plus artists will bring their families and relax after the fest in idyllic Napa Valley.

Since the festival is held in the renowned California wine country the wine will flow and of course there will be amazing food to be paired with it. The list of wineries in attendance is almost as expansive as the music including well-known wineries like Robert Mondavi and Coppola to smaller wineries such as Seaglass. For those that prefer beer Napa Smith, Lagunitas, Anchor and more will be at the festival providing plenty of options.

This year there will be the Williams-Sonoma culinary stage showcasing top chefs. A few celebrity guests will be cooking on the stage as well. Ever wonder what Snoop Dogg whips up in the kitchen? This is your chance. Restaurants in attendance span from classier options such as Morimoto to festival staple White Guy Pad Thai.

There are plenty of hotels around Napa for festival goers to stay at and prices are reasonable. Hotels closer to the venue are going to fill up quick so it would be best to book as soon as possible Book your stay through FestPop for great deals. Getting around during the festival will also be convenient. BottleRock passes will allow for free local bus service and plenty of parking will be available. Uber will be available as well, which is offers great rates and means nobody has to be designated driver.

Bottlerock definitely appeals more to the boutique festival goer. You can expect smaller crowds and all the amenities even with a general admission pass. If you’re looking to amp up your festival experience Bottlerock’s VIP options are top notch. The benefits include exclusive shaded viewing areas, upgraded restrooms and VIP parking.
