New Brunswick’s annual Future Forest is back for its sixth year and has announced a Phase 1 lineup that will send festival-goers on a musical adventure through the wilderness. From July 27-30th, emerges Future Forest, a fully immersive journey cast among the lush trees and riverside at Albrights Corner in New Brunswick.
The 4 day music festival is where nature, art and technology are united and superimposed over the sounds of Bass, Trap, Hip-hop, Funk, Throwback House and Psychedelic Techno. The 2018 lineup features Brazilian Producer Alex Stein, Montreal’s long-standing techno act Miss Barbara, dubstep act DMVU, Brooklyn-based producer and visual artist Esseks, electronica and live instrumentalist Plantrae and experimental-bass fusion act Yheti. Future Forest is a festival that allows participants to contribute to the overall experience by a means that heighten all senses. Amidst the three stages, The Nest Stage, The Mushroom Stage and The Prism Stage, Future Forest offers a myriad of artists and performers, including live painters, acrobatic and pole dancers, hula hoopers, fire spinners, aerial performers, and installation artists. For those looking for some downtime throughout the weekend, The Artisan Village is the hub where attendees can go to purchase handcrafted goods and locally grown organic food options.
