Nestled into the natural surroundings of Albrights Corner, New Brunswick, Future Forest offers a variety of artistic displays that will transform festival goers into a zen filled state of mind. Starting in 2012 as a fundraiser for a fellow friend, Future Forest has since transformed into a weekend filled with musical acts from all over the world, mind-blowing art installations, health workshops and camping that make for an unforgettable experience for attendees.
Back for their 7th consecutive year, Future Forest will take place in Fredricton, NB on July 26th-29th. The festival offers a massive line-up of artists for the 2019 edition, including international headliners Ardalan and Justin Martin, both artists who are signed to the infamous Dirtybird Records.
There are many other artists who are set to perform at the three-day festival. As festival goers begin to arrive on Thursday night to set up their camp sites and settle in, Future Forest will offer a pre-party event at the infamous Mushroom Stage. The pre-party will set the tone for the weekend with performances by Toronto legend Miz Megs and drum & bass DJ Stripes. As the sun rises on Friday the 26th, attendees can make their way around the festival grounds to interact with the various mesmerizing art-instillations that are offered, in addition, there will be various workshops offered throughout the weekend that festival goers can attend. Fridays musical line-up includes sets from the following talents: Ben Fox, Craymak B2b A\Wal, DRRTYWULVZ, Huxley Anne, Lucii and more… After a psychedelic Friday night, attendees can find themselves relaxing among the whimsical setting of Future Forest in preparation for the coming day. Saturday’s line-up will bring an assortment of trippy acts to the stage, some being: Stickybuds, A Hundred Drums, Beth Lydi, Mungo’s Hi-Fi, Pick a Piper, Pineo + Loeb, Sam Binga plus many other talented acts. Amidst a much needed rest after Saturday’s festivities, campers will have the opportunity to wander the forest and check anything they might have missed in the previous days… Sunday’s acts will finish off the festival weekend with performances by Kenny Glasgow, Anna Morgan, Boogey the Beat, Bell Curve, Veev and more.
In addition to the multifaceted line-up of musical acts, Future Forest also offers live performance art such as fire and circus act Industribe, aerial artist and dancer Subscura and juggler duo The Juggling Bubblers. As well as live performance artists, the festival will also exhibit a variety of visual & human art displays from artists such as Bild, Martin Bridge, Nate Guimond, Make-up artist Patima, Full Moon Collective, Duncan Ireland, Emily Danger Power and many more.
The 2019 edition of Future Forest will with out a doubt be one for the books. With 3 uniquely different stages, mind-blowing visual effects, a line-up filled with talent from all over the world, both visual and live art displays all-in-all set in the scenic Albrights Corner… Festival goers are set for one beautifully immersive escape.
