merryland-music-festival

On July 9 & 10, the Merriweather Post Pavilion will host the inaugural Merryland Music Fest in; you guessed it, Columbia, MD. Centrally located between Baltimore and Washington DC, the historic Merriweather Post Pavilion is one of the nation’s most beautiful and legendary amphitheaters. From the organizers who produced the All Good Festival for two decades, All Good Presents is proud to announce the first-ever Merryland Music Fest—a weekend filled includes 21 acts, over 20 hours of music, an expanded Merriweather footprint, an interactive space within Symphony Woods (a 40 acre wooded preserve), unique local artisans, crowd performers, Kick-Off and Late-Night concerts, and more.

Bringing together a lineup that highlights some of the most talented live musicians performers today, Merryland Music Fest features two sets from The String Cheese Incident along with
Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals
Grace Potter
Lotus
Stephen “Ragga” Marley
Greensky Bluegrass
Shakey Graves
Yonder Mountain String Band
Langhorne Slim & The Law
Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe
Nahko & Medicine for the People
Pigeons Playing Ping Pong
Turkuaz
TAUK
Protoje
Cris Jacobs Band
ELM

Acts alternate between two stages—the main stage and the Believe in Music Stage, named after the partnering Baltimore-based non-profit Believe in Music. The NP was started by Kenny Liner from the Bridge, and is focused on helping promote self-expression and community awareness through music education in underprivileged communities.

Taking full advantage of Merryland Music Fest’s urban surroundings, attendees can add on their choice of Kick-Off Concerts on Friday, July 8: Papadosio with ELM at Ram’s Head Live in Baltimore, or Soul Rebels with People’s Blues of Richmond at the 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C.

Furthermore, fans can add on the Late-Night Concert hosted by Kung Fu with guest appearances by Karl Denson and more taking place Saturday, July 9 at Rams Head Live
