What to Bring What to Leave at Home
Check out this comprehensive list we put together for both first time campers and anyone that wants to make sure they’ve remembered all Campout essentials!
CAMPING UPDATE – NO PROPANE STOVES OR BBQs OF ANY KIND
Due to the CA state drought / high fire risk all open flame including propane stoves and lanterns are not allowed at Dirtybird Campout. The BBQ’s will take place on Saturday and Sunday, and there will also be several delicious food vendors. Thanks for your cooperation and understanding!
Campout Specifics
Clothing Items for Tie Dye + Screen Printing – There will be daily tie-dye and screen printing classes in the crafting tipis at various time throughout the weekend. No experience? No worries – Just bring a white or light colored garment and we’ll help you with the rest! (no blankets, sheets, towels or large items please) Times vary – see schedule!
Running/Gym Shoes – If you plan to get involved with the sporting events make sure you bring durable shoes to protect your feet.
Sun Hats or Parasols – It’s looking like it’s going to be a hot weekend, folks. Whether you’re playing or spectating, make sure you bring hats, sunglasses or parasols to protect yourself from the blazing sun.
Talent Show Props & Instruments – Got a stupid human trick or random instrumental talent? Whatever your talent may be, bring the essential tools needed to nail your routine!
Summer Camp Flare – Your camp counselors and staff will be dressed up in some traditional summer camp flare so you can easily spot them out. Feel free to join the fun and bring your own campout style to the event. Festivals are all about self-expression so go ahead and make it your own!
