Interview with Jacob Plant and feature of his new track “Hunger”

23- year old British Producer, Jacob Plant is killing the game right now with his new releases. After being recognized on the discovery platform BBC Introducing, he received attention of super-producer Calvin Harris who released what would be Plant’s first big break – Shakedown. In 2014, he entered the Dim Mak roster with Louder, receiving support from label boss Steve Aoki as well as Diplo, Benny Benassi and Annie Nightingale.

This year, he released “Ice Cream” on Dim Mak before collaborating with fellow rising producer Tujamo on “All Night,” a Beatport Top 3 track that also reached #1 on the Electro House chart and topped 1001tracklists two weeks in a row. In a short time, Jacob Plant’s music has catapulted across international airwaves and allowed him to perform in front of thousands at Lollapalooza, HARD Day of the Dead, and recently Wireless Festival, where he rocked the stage and quite literally surfed the crowd.

Following his Pete Tong-championed future house anthem “Ice Cream,” London born producer Jacob Plant makes his third mark on Dim Mak with the bass-heavy track “Hunger.”
“Hunger” shifts through synth rhythms and dives into the depths of low, dimly distorted vocals. Its pulsating percussion and rustling cymbals create a shuffling descent into darker territory, where no one can resist busting a move. We dig Jacob Plant’s new track and his future bass style!
