LADYSMITH BLACK MAMBAZO, LUCY ROSE, AND MT. WOLF ANNOUNCED FOR WYCHWOOD FESTIVAL 2015

Ladysmith Black Mambazo

Another group of artists has been announced for the Wychwood Festival including Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Lucy Rose, and Mt. Wolf.

Ladysmith Black Mambazo is a legendary South African singing group that has existed for over 50 years creating powerful songs inspired by their heritage and roots. With four Grammys under their belts, this group will deliver a stellar performance and be an ideal act to close out the Sunday night of the festival.

Lucy Rose is an acclaimed British singer who is set to perform songs from her recent hit album Like I Used To and her upcoming album coming out later this year. Mt. Wolf represents a three-piece electro-folk group that will add another dynamic performance to the Ecotricity Big Top stage. They join other popular names such as Plastic Mermaids, Barron Knights, and Thrill Collins.

The festival itself takes places May 29th – 31st at Cheltenham Racecourse, UK over 4 stages. It incorporates a range of live music, comedy shows, and family entertainment. This year’s Wychwood Festival features a new partnership with Ecotricity, the world’s first green energy company that currently supplies 150,000 people across the UK with sun and wind energy. One of the stages has been newly-renamed with their brand name and there will be several interactive forums at the festival on green issues such as energy, good, transport, and nature.

One-day and weekend passes are available for purchase on their website www.wychwoodfestival.com. Weekend tickets are priced at £129 for adults, £104 for concessions, £62 for 10-15 year olds, £22 for 5-9 year olds and under 5 free. One-day tickets are available from £42 for adults, £32 for concessions, £22 for 10-15 year olds and £10 for 5-9 year olds and under 5 free
