Allston, MA- A lineup change for Boston Calling 2017 has just been announced. Modern Baseball will be replaced by Converge for 2017. Modern Baseball just recently announced that they are taking a break and have canceled all of their upcoming U.S. tour dates and festival appearances.
Converge
Converge is a boston-based metalcore band that was formed in 1990. The band members include vocalist Jacob Bannon, guitarist Kurt Ballou, bassist Nate Newton, and drummer Ben Koller. Converge will be releasing “Jane Live”, a live recording of the “Jane Doe” album, on March 3rd-Just a few months prior to the festival!
While Modern Baseball will be missed, Boston Calling is excited to add another local act from Massachusetts to its lineup. Other local Massachusetts artists performing this year include Buffalo Tom, Cousin Stizz, The Hotelier, and Piebald.
Boston Calling will take place at the Harvard Athletic Complex in Allston, MA on May 26-28 2017
