Iceland’s largest music festival Secret Solstice will be returning for their 4th edition June 16-18, 2017. Ever since its first year in 2014 this festival has caught the attention of music lovers around the globe. Several media outlets have even dubbed it “the world’s most unique music festival.” During the epic summer solstice the capital city of Reykjavik will come alive for 72-hours of daylight.
Phase 2 Lineup
Secret Solstice Festival is proud to announce some of the biggest names to ever perform in Iceland Hosting some of today’s most exciting names in hip hop, Secret Solstice’s newly announced lineup features Rick Ross, Big Sean, Young M.A, Roots Manuva, and recent two-time Grammy nominee Anderson .Paak, along with his band The Free Nationals. Also added are Odd Future member Left Brain, viral star Princess Nokia, and young British rap talent Ocean Wisdom.
Flying into Iceland and adding to Secret Solstice’s already exceptional dance music lineup, Seth Troxler, The Black Madonna, Lane 8 and Cubicolor will be joining previous names like The Prodigy, Dubfire, Kerri Chandler, Dusky, Soul Clap, Thugfucker, Wolf + Lamb, as well as Iceland’s own kings of electronica Kiasmos.
Representing the local talent, the Icelandic contingent of artists has been bolstered, featuring rockers The Vintage Caravan, the island’s biggest name in rap Gísli Pálmi, and other local names including Ragga Gröndal, Vaginaboys, Valby Bræður, and more.
And finally, with an estimated 20 million album sales, and known globally for immense hits including “Ain’t Nobody” and “I’m Every Woman,” Queen Of Funk Chaka Khan has also been added to Secret Solstice’s 2017 lineup.
