Rapture Electronic Music Festival- Miami Music Week
Miami’s newest beachfront festival, Rapture Electronic Music Festival, will be making its debut with a special one-day event on Thursday, March 23, 2017. Set on the idyllic beach and protected environmental oasis in Historic Virginia Key Beach Park, Rapture will bring fans a new Miami Music Week adventure apart from the typical South Beach nightclub and pool party scene. From 12pm- 2am festival goers will be able to dance, swim and party on the beach while listening to quality underground music in a natural oasis setting.
Rapture just announced its phase two lineup for its inaugural event. Joining Art Department, Carl Craig, Ellen Allien, and many other artists that have already been announced, Rapture just added Dave Seaman, Dennis Ferrer, DeWalta, East End Dubs, Gaiser (live), Henry Saiz, M.A.N.D.Y., Magdalena, Rodriguez Jr. (live), plus a wave of rising local talent on a newly added fifth stage!
Powered by L-Acoustic Systems, Rapture will feature some of the most respected artists in techno and house music today! The In-Tune Stage will see international DJs Steve Lawler, Ellen Allien, Fur Coat, andhim, and recently added Dennis Ferrer, Gaiser, Magdalena, Rodriguez Jr. (live) takeover the festival’s main stage. With Miami’s own Secret Garden, The Flying Circus stage will take festival goers on a ride with its carnivalesque theme in a 5,000 square foot tent complete with stilt walkers, sexy clowns, thrilling aerialists, all to the beats of Detroit techno icon Carl Craig, Art Department, Audiofly, Matthew Dear and Francesca Lombardo, M.A.N.D.Y. plus an exclusive Miami appearance from M.A.N.F.L.Y. The UN_MUTE Stage will play host to the minimal sounds of Romanian DJs Rhadoo and Petre Inspirescu along with tINI, DeWalta and East End Dubs.
Progressive house lovers will feel at home at The Soundgarden & Castaway Stage. Guests are invited to dance with their toes in the sand to the sounds of Hernan Cattaneo, Guy J, Henry Saiz, Dave Seaman, and Nick Warren and Jody Wisternoff together as Way Out West for a special reunion. The newly added fifth stage, the Nomad Stage, will welcome Miami’s up and coming DJs featuring a Funktion-One sound system.

Historic Virginia Key Beach Park is located on an island just 15 minutes from Downtown Miami and is accessible from the mainland via the Rickenbacker Causeway. The venue is the perfect natural outdoor Miami setting for spending the day soaking up the sun and dancing with friends.
