The 2016 Riot Fest boasts headliners the Original Misfits, Jane’s Addiction, Death Cab for Cutie, Ween and more over at the National Western Complex. Just follow the smell of dry dog food from the Purina factory off of I-70 and you’re almost there.
Midwest party pumpers over at Riot Fest have shown fans of the punk persuasion a little bit of mercy. After this year’s Riot Fest, a slew of headlining acts will serve as after-show main attractions at Summit Music Hall, Marquis Theater and Hi-Dive from Sept. 2-4 during the long Labor Day weekend.
Among the initial 77-band lineup announcement are many reunions, full-album concerts and last shows. Notable among them: Motion City Soundtrack, who are on their final tour and will perform likely their last show in Denver during Riotfest; Jane’s Addiction, playing their 1990 sophomore album “Ritual De Lo Habitual” in its entirety; and Wolf Parade, who just played their first show in five years last night and will make make their Denver reunion debut at Riotfest.
